Common questions
What do I need to use Printroom?
An Adobe account with an active Lightroom trial or subscription, and photos in your Lightroom cloud catalog. Adobe's Lightroom API is not available to free Adobe accounts.
How do I connect my Lightroom library?
Open Printroom, choose Connect to Lightroom and sign in on Adobe's page. Printroom then syncs your catalog automatically while the app is open.
Sign-in worked, but my catalog won't load.
This usually means your Adobe account doesn't have Lightroom API access. Check that your Lightroom plan or trial is active, then use Retry catalog connection in the app.
Why am I asked to sign in again?
Adobe's sign-in for apps like Printroom expires after a while and can't be renewed silently. Signing in again restores sync without losing your offline photos or rules.
Can Printroom change my photos or ratings?
No. Printroom is read-only. To edit a photo, use the Lightroom button in the photo view to open it in Lightroom on the web.
How do I keep photos available offline?
Create an offline rule, for example all five-star photos. Printroom downloads high-resolution copies of matching photos to your device. Rules and their progress are under Collections & Offline.
How do I remove my data?
Choose Disconnect on the Lightroom connection screen to remove your saved Adobe sign-in. Deleting the app removes all downloaded photos and data from your device.
